METEXA MAX
01.11.1996 - 13.03.2009
I don't have any kitten photographs I can show you. Max came into our lives before digital cameras, and I don't have the heart to go hunting for the albums just now.
We got the results of a second round of blood tests for Max this lunchtime, and they were not good. We took him down to see a vet late this afternoon, and she found that one of his kidneys was grossly enlarged. It was time to let him go.
Max was beautiful, loving, brave and funny. We shall miss him a lot.

Awww, I'm sorry. *hugs* to you all. He was a very handsome man.
I'm so sorry. Even when it is the right thing to do, it's so unbearably hard. Hugs to both of you....
Oh, I'm so sorry! Hugs from all of us to all of you.
Oh, sweetie, how sad. I've had to do that and it's heart-wrenching. The gentleman had a splendid life with you two. If *I* were a catten, I would choose your home!
How are the other kitties handling Max's absence? --syl
It is so very difficult to let go as I learnt last summer when my dear old Oscar's time was up.
How very handsome Max is in these photos. Much sympathy.
*Hugs* to you all. I'm so sorry. It's such a hard thing to go through.
Oh Carol I am so sorry I know how much he meant to you:( He did have a fabulous life with you and you did the right thing for him today as you have always. Sending strength
Sorry to read this.

Sorry to hear about poor Max.He was a good age and must have had a wonderful and happy life with everything, and more, a cat could wish for.
Oh Carol, so sorry to hear about Max. I'm sure he had a wonderful life with you, I can see how much you love your kitties. It's never easy letting them go - I'm sending a big hug from across the pond.
What a handsome cat he was and I bet he had a great life. I'm sorry he's gone, best wishes to you both (and the other kitties).
OH Carol, I'm so sorry to hear about Max. It was the right decision, but oh so hard.
